Tad is a seasoned executive experienced in managing the growth of technology companies from startup to mature organizations. Tad began his career in the online world in 1999 as one of the earliest employees of Gear.com, a sporting goods company backed by Amazon.com. Through an acquisition, Tad joined Overstock.com and helped the company grow from roughly $70m in revenue to over $800m, as it went from a privately funded startup to a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ. Tad was also a member of the nine-person committee responsible for the successful bid to host the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002 and currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the American Folk Art Museum.
